R-Touch & R-Lead help hands and arms work for real life again
Grasp, hold, release — sounds automatic. After stroke, with CP, or post-surgery, it often isn’t. That’s where R-Touch and R-Lead step in: modern robotics and sensors that make training tangible and measurable.
What’s the idea?
In neuro- and hand rehabilitation, three things matter: high repetitions, good movement quality, and clear feedback.
Our three building blocks

R-Touch
a soft, motor-assisted robotic glove (guides/supports movement).

R-Lead
a sensor/game-based system without an exoskeleton (free movement in front of a screen).

Mirror Therapy
a strong visual signal to the brain to initiate movement and reduce pain.
Together they deliver intensive, clean, motivating training — child-friendly, adult-ready, and close to daily tasks.
The 3 options — brief & clear
A gentle, motor-assisted glove safely moves fingers and hand along the right path, supports grasping, and helps regain movement sense and control.
• Early use: feasible even at bedside.
• Grasp practice: pinch (e.g., bead), cylindrical (bottle), lateral/key grip.
• Learning boost: many clean reps + live feedback → faster neuro-relearning.
Bottom line: R-Touch brings hand and fingers “back into play” when strength, endurance, or control are lacking.
Free movement in front of a screen — nothing to wear. Real-time feedback makes progress visible.
• Goals: reach farther, hit more accurately, react faster.
• Coordination: eye-hand improves and is measurable.
• Motivation: game-like exercises with scores and levels.
Bottom line: R-Lead turns therapy into a motivating training game — with real carryover to daily life.
The healthy hand is perceived in the mirror as the “affected” one. This creates a strong visual message: “The hand moves well.”
• Effect: movements are facilitated, pain can decrease, and the brain builds new connections (neuroplasticity).
How we combine
- R-Touch + mirror: the glove gently sets the correct movement; the mirror provides the “good image.” Result: stronger movement sense, more repetitions, faster learning curve.
- R-Lead + mirror principle: visual live feedback works like digital mirror therapy. You see movement quality and direction immediately; difficulty adapts → high motivation, measurable gains.
- R-Touch → R-Lead progression: first initiate movement safely (R-Touch), then consolidate free, target-oriented motion (R-Lead). That’s how technique becomes everyday function (cutlery, toothbrush, zipper, pen).
Who is it for?
- Children: cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes, developmental delay.
- Adults: post-stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury; also Parkinson’s or MS.
- Orthopedics: after fractures, tendon injuries, immobilization/surgery.
Everyday benefits
- More mobility and strength in hand/arm.
- Safer grasp and release (cutlery, toothbrush, zipper, pen).
- More endurance and coordination → greater independence in ADLs.
- Motivation through game elements and visible progress — for kids and adults.
How it works here
- Intake & assessment (45 min)
– R-Touch: quick functional check and sizing.
– R-Lead: can start right away. - Individual plan
– R-Touch for gentle-to-active motion and grasp patterns.
– R-Lead for free movement with game + feedback.
– Mirror therapy integrated by goal. - Intensive block
– typically 2–3 weeks, 3–5 days/week, 45 minutes each.
Contraindications
Not suitable with acute inflammation/pain, fresh post-op wounds, unstable fractures, uncontrolled epilepsy, or pronounced painful spasticity.
Important: positioning, modes, and intensity are always individualized.
What the research says
- Robotic gloves enable many high-quality repetitions → better grasp functions (e.g., pinch) and higher test scores.
- Sensor/game-based training improves reach, accuracy, and reaction time — especially combined with conventional physio/OT.
In short: robotics/feedback + targeted exercises + sufficient intensity ⇒ measurable gains and higher motivation.
From practice
“My child can finally hold a fork again — and now wants to eat independently.”
That’s what drives us. Technology isn’t a goal in itself; it makes therapy clear, playful, and consistently measurable — exactly what the brain needs to relearn.
R-Touch safely initiates movement. R-Lead consolidates free, precise motion with enjoyment. Together with conventional therapy, you get a program that families understand, feel, and use in daily life.
FAQ (snippets)
Yes. With R-Touch we can safely initiate motion; minimal activity is enough. Then we consolidate free, goal-directed movement with R-Lead.
From early childhood once cooperation is possible. We tailor duration, tasks, and games to developmental level.
Often within one intensive block (2–3 weeks) you notice first everyday improvements. Durability increases with home practice (we provide exercises).
No. Training is gentle, well-dosed, and individualized.
